Avagadro was one of our first classic grey sire and has made a significant contribution to our breeding program with many of his offspring winning colour championships and awards throughout our first years as alpaca breeders. His spirit still lives on in our herd many generations later!

Avagadro is one of the only grey grandsons of the perhaps the most famous herdsire Hemingway. Avagadro is a MSG male with an incredibly fine fleece. At 10 years of age, his micron count was still at 24 which is truly impressive for a grey! He has proven to be an excellent herdsire and has produced many silver and rose crias ranging from light to dark. Over the years, his offspring have gone on to win many ribbons throughout halter and fleece shows in Canada. Avagadro is now retired from his breeding career but he was a great addition to our breeding program. We are still working with some of his offsping in our current breeding program.
